The Provincial Association for Science and Technology recently announced the list of the eighth batch of Fujian Academician and Expert Workstations, with 8 selected in Quanzhou. As of now, the city has a total of 45 provincial-level academician and expert workstations, ranking first in the province in terms of quantity.
It is reported that the 8 newly recognized provincial-level academician and expert workstations in Quanzhou City are: Weizhi Co., Ltd., Fujian Jiayi Plastic Co., Ltd., Lilang (China) Co., Ltd., Shishi City Hospital, Shishi City Senke Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Yongchun County Taoxi National Wetland Park Management Bureau, Yongchun County Flower Association, and Fujian Zhengyang Technology Co., Ltd. In addition, two academician expert workstations, Jiatai CNC Technology Co., Ltd. and Quanzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology, have been jointly awarded the "Fujian Provincial Academician Expert Demonstration Workstation" by the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, and the Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
Since the beginning of this year, in order to further promote the "Harbor Plan" for talents, the Municipal Association for Science and Technology has closely focused on the spirit of "the essence of platform construction is attracting talents and talents" in accordance with the special action plan of "doubling the total number of talents" of the Municipal Party Committee's Talent Work Leading Group. As of now, the city has established a total of 50 municipal level academician workstations and flexibly introduced 531 academicians and expert innovation teams, mainly involving fields such as photovoltaic energy, food and medicine, electronic communication, agricultural ecology, leather environmental protection, textile shoes and clothing, architecture, environmental protection, etc. This has effectively alleviated the shortage of scientific research and innovation talents in Quanzhou, strengthened the "driving force" of innovation and development, and enriched the high-end talent team in Quanzhou.
